IT Support Technician at Kammarkollegiet

As an IT Support Technician, you ensure that users remain happy, that meeting equipment starts, and that computers and mobile devices run smoothly! The IT department consists of 14 employees and is responsible for all operational IT activities, providing services in management, operations, and support for a core business that includes about 370 people. Kammarkollegiet has assignments in many different areas, which provides a variety of tasks.

The support team consists of four employees, one of whom is located in Karlstad. The team provides first- and second-line support for IT workplaces, multifunction printers, and conference equipment both on-site and via remote access. The support team also collaborates closely with the operations group due to the many overlapping areas. We work broadly within our responsibilities and are not afraid to take on new tasks and assignments. We help each other, and the atmosphere is unpretentious.

Job Description

In your role as a support technician, you will provide support to the agency's employees. We receive and manage error reports in the case management system Easit. You will primarily provide on-site support, but also via phone, email, and Teams.

The tasks as a support technician include installation and troubleshooting of hardware and software, account management in Active Directory and Exchange, administration of mobile phone subscriptions, and placing orders in these areas according to the needs of the organization.

Are you our new colleague?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • at least two years of relevant experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar role that the employer deems relevant for the position.
  • good knowledge of and experience in troubleshooting, fault resolution, and user support in a Windows environment.
  • experience in account management in Active Directory and Exchange.
  • very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • experience with Intune
  • education in IT that may be relevant for the position
  • experience working in a case management system

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment and willingness to serve. You are a quick learner and can quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and technologies. As a person, you are outgoing, stress-resistant, pedagogical, and customer-focused. You have good collaboration skills but also enjoy solving problems independently and have the ability to take responsibility for a task and drive it to completion.

More Information

Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period. The position is located in Stockholm where we have nice activity-based offices in Gamla Stan.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

Start date as soon as possible (by agreement).
